Having a clean mountain bike disc brake rotor is key to maintain stopping power, and an old worn-out MTB rotor can also be a dangerous issue waiting to happen.
It's essential that you ensure the brake has the correct mounting system for your frame and fork. The measurement of disc brake mounts is based on the distance in millimeters between the the center of the two bolt mounting holes.
Our Mechanical Disc Brakes are suitable for two main types of disc brake mounts: IS mounts: 51mm Post mounts: 74mm
【Dismensions】-- All calipers have both 74mm and 51mm mounting bolt spacing, each weighs 180g. The Disc Rotor inner diameter 44mm, outer diameter 160mm, thickness 2mm, each weight 126g.
【Mechanical Disc Brake】-- Cable actuated post mount mechanical disc brake calipers provide the excellent stopping power and are easy to service. Dual-piston brake pad actuation improves braking performance over single-piston designs, while also prevents rotor deformation.
【Stainless Steel 6-Bolt Disc Rotors】-- Ultra-light rotors that shed weight and shred trail, while still achieving superior braking power and modulation. With massive vent holes throughout the spider, and drilled holes through your contact patch to help both with heat vetting and weight shaving at once.
The gentle sawtooth shaping on the outside diameter decreases the chances that you'll experience a brake squeal. It comes with sturdy steel fasteners and will work with any 6 Bolt compatible hubs.
Front brake (F160-R140)= If you install this brake on front wheel, it suits for 160mm disc rotor, if you install this brake on your rear wheel, it suits for 140mm disc rotor.
Rear brake (F180-R160)=If you install this brake on Front-wheel, it suits for 180mm disc rotor. If you install this brake on the Rear wheel, it suits for a 160mm disc rotor.
